Hastings & Pleadwell: A Communications Company (H&P) offers internship opportunities throughout the year. Interns get hands-on experience and work closely with H&P partners and account executives. They gain basic skills required to work in the field of public relations.

Interns work on various client accounts completing tasks which may include: research, drafting press releases, issuing press releases, monitoring media outlets, preparing materials for presentations, updating website and social media outlets, assist in media buying, etc. Intern would participate in weekly strategy meetings with H&P staff and partners.

Qualified candidates should be motivated, able to multi-task, eager to learn and have good written and oral communication skills.

Internship schedules are tailored to the student’s schedule, and H&P workspace availability. Interns are required to work 10 – 20 hours a week for the duration of the relationship. Internships are unpaid and can be completed for college credits.
